News and Notes for Week 3

Good Afternoon!

Hello all parents and guardians! Camp Odyssey would first of all like to thank you for choosing to send your child here and allowing us to present to them, the most fun possible. The following information will be helpful for the rest of the week…

  • Tuesday is Pie and Pastry day; while this day will be a “crazy time” schedule and will not be a “messy day” there will be opportunities for your child to throw some pastries at counselors!
  • Wednesday is Egg Drop day; campers will have the opportunity to build a device that will save an egg from breaking.
  • Thursday is USA DAY. Wear Red, white and blue in your zaniest fashion! If your child would like to be in the Parade, have them bring a bike, skateboard, scooter or roller blades. Parents, you are invited to come and watch at 1:30pm.
  • Friday: CAMP IS CLOSED ON FRIDAY AS WE RECOGNIZE THE HOLIDAY ON SATURDAY. DO NOT SHOW UP BECAUSE WE WILL NOT BE THERE! THANK YOU AND HAVE A SAFE WEEKEND! :)

Please pack a snack for your child to eat during group time since we burn a lot of calories during the day. We encourage you to send water/drinks with your child to keep them hydrated throughout the day. We have water fountains throughout the camp building for them to use as well.

Coffee and Muffins from Viva Espresso: At drop off every Monday and Friday morning, be sure to grab a muffin or 12oz cup of coffee, courtesy of Viva Espresso! It’s just $1.00 each, with proceeds going to the Camp Odyssey Scholarship Fund, helping good kids get the money to have a week at camp. Only Monday for Week Three. No camp on Friday the 3rd.

When considering what to do about your child’s snack, don’t forget about Z-Snack Shack! With great prices for everyday snacks and drinks, the Camp Store is open at lunch and for After-Camp, so be sure to send a few dollars.

Specialty Camps: We still have openings at many of our Camp Odyssey Specialty Camps! Don’t miss your chance to get incredible experiences in music, sailing, art, and more! Check our Camp Catalog or look online for more details!
