Baltimore Orioles Game

Parents/Guardians:

Thursday July 1st will be our trip to the Orioles game at 7:00pm. We will attend regular studios at camp until lunch time. Please have a lunch brought/ordered like a regular camp day. At 1:00pm we will get ready to load the bus and leave Salisbury School by 1:30pm. Once we arrive in Baltimore (approximately 4:30pm) we will walk around the Inner Harbor and have dinner in the food court. We will be walking to the stadium and be seated by 6:45pm.

MUST WEAR CAMP SHIRT! Campers need to bring at least $20 to be responsible for buying dinner/drinks/snacks. Camper may want to have extra money in case they want to buy souvenirs. Campers are responsible for their own money. We do suggest that campers bring cell phones in case of emergency. IPods or any other electronic games may be brought on the trip for the bus ride but CAMP ODYSSEY STAFF will not be responsible for them if they are lost, stolen, or broken. Bring at your own risk! The arrival time back to Salisbury is not certain. We will have you camper call/text you when we leave and when we are 30min away from Salisbury. It will be late!! Any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to call me.

Water, Water Everywhere Reminders!

Hey Camp Odyssey Parents. Remember that tomorrow is our first Festival of the Summer, Water, Water Everywhere! We are going to have tons of water games in the afternoon to help cool off after a hot week. For those who want to take part in the watery, wet fun, these are some things your camper will need to bring to maximize his/her fun and saftey:
  • Come wearing a swimsuit/trunks under his/her clothes
  • Come wearing sunscreen and bring more in case your camper needs to reapply after a few hours
  • Bring a towel and change of clothes for after the festival
  • Bring flipflops so that your camper's shoes and socks don't get soaked and squishy
  • Campers can bring a water soaker (squirt gun or other water dispensing device) for the huge water war during the festival. If your camper chooses to bring a soaker, make sure it is labeled with his/her name so it doesn't get lost
  • Campers are also encouraged to wear goggles to protect them from accidental splashing

As always, thanks for your cooperation and a great summer so far!
